Project summary:

The main objective of the project is to increase the tourism attractiveness and encourage tourism focused on the cultural and historical heritage and local traditions of the region throught focused investment in infrastructure. In addition, the project aims at making investments in the effective valorisation of its local cultural sights and heritage and turning them into tourist attractions.

Project activities: 1.Project Management & Coordination; 2.Construction Works in Bojnik; 3.Construction Works in Zemen (Divlya and Elov Dol villages); 4.Elaboration of a 20 min movie (+ 3 min short version) about the local cultural and historical heritage of the cross-border region; 5.Elaboration of an interactive joint GIS based map of the cultural/historical sights in the region + mapping of bike routes; 6.Organization of cross-border info tours for tourist agencies representatives (both walking and biking tours;) 7.Art workshop with local painters and exhibition; 8.Organization of a final cross-border cultural festival; 9.Information and publicity.

Project summary:

Overall project objective is improving of tourist attraction of Pirot and Varshets throw a new approach in promotion of tourist offer. Specific objectives are: 1.Construction of new tourist sites as a additional tourism offer in two towns 2.Improvment of cross border tourist promotion of active tourism.

Planned activities: Realization of attraction site "rope park" in Varshets, Realization of Recreative and Sports sites in Varshets,Construction of amusement" adrenalin"park in Pirot town,Development of stategic plan for improvment of sport tourism offer in CBC region Varshets-Pirot,Patner forum and exchange visit of project stakeholders,Workshops and capacity buiding, Promotion of project results and evaluation of implemented activities.

The outcomes of the project: constructed facilities which means :1 complete constructed site "adrenalin park"in Pirot and 2 small constructions and 4 installed equipments in Varshets Benefits achived are seen throw inprovment of tourist attracions of both town,inceasing of number of visitors and higher level of sport-recreative offer in cross border region.

Project summary:

The project aims at improving the tourist attractiveness and diversifying the tourist products of Belogradhik – Boljevac region

Specific objectives:

  • To improve the attractiveness of Magurata Cave;
  • To establish a Nature and Tourist Centre at Rtani Mountain;
  • To create elements for diversification, innovative presentation and popularization of the tourist attractions in the region.

Project activities:

  1. Improvement the tourist attractiveness of Magurata Cave;
  2. Hologram presentation of Magurata Cave;
  3. Establishment of Nature and Tourist Centre (NTC) on Rtani Mountain;
  4. Furnishing the NTC and equipping an interactive Vistors' Hall;
  5. Elaboration of a Joint Platform and mobile application for the biodiversity and tourist attractions of Boljevac-Belogradchik CBC region;
  6. Elaboration of joint tourist routes;
  7. Organization of popularization event of the joint tourist routes;
  8. Organization of Joint Nature Days Fest in Boljevac.

  2. Improved lighting and access to the Magurata Cave;
