Preservation of ecosystem in rural areas of Dupnitsa and Bela Palanka

The overall objective of the project is to stimulate the balanced and sustainable development of the Bela Palanka-Dupnitsa region through implementation of joint measures for nature protection in the Programme area.

The project activities are:

1. Mapping of the critical polluted areas;
2. Supply of equipment in Municipality of Bela Palanka;
3. Supply of equipment in Municipality of Dupnitsa;
4. Elaboration of legal assessment and study;
5. Organization of an international round table in Bela Palanka.

The expected results are:

1. Elaborated map of the polluted areas and identification of critical spots for cleaning;
2. Delivered equipments for waste management;
3. Cleaned identified spots;
4. Elaborated comparative legal analysis and study on local and EU best green practices in the field of waste management;
5. Conducted of awareness joint forum – round table with 20 participants.
