The objective of the project is promoting equal opportunities and active participation of young people with disabilities and supporting their social integration. Main activities: - Establishment of an “APASY” (Adapted physical activity and sports - Youths for Youths) network;
- Drowning up of an “APASY” methodology for disabled, which includes swimming; functional training; cardio fitness;
- Developing of training activities – swimming, functional training and cardio fitness;
- Conducting of an “APASY” training of unemployed - swimming;
- Conducting of swimming for disabled;
- Conducting of swimming for children with spinal distortion and flat foot;
- Conducting of two Bulgarian-Serbian workshops in Nis and Pernik;
- Conducting of two Open APASY Days in Nis and Pernik;
- Conducting of a training in functional training and cardio fitness for unemployed;
- Conducting of sessions with disabled under supervision;
- Conducted functional training - children with spinal distortion and flat foot;
- Elaborating of a Trainer ‘s Book;
- Conducting of a Round table in Pernik.
Expected results: - Established “APASY” (Adapted physical activity and sports - Youths for Youths) network here;
- Drawn up “APASY” methodology for disabled, which includes swimming; functional training; cardio fitness here;
- Developed training activities – swimming, functional training and cardio fitness - 30 youths trained/certified here;
- Conducted “APASY” training of unemployed - swimming;
- Conducted swimming for disabled - 30 young people with disabilities involved in rehabilitation;
- Conducted swimming for children with spinal distortion and flat foot;
- Conducted two Bulgarian-Serbian workshops in Nis and Pernik;
- Conducted two Open APASY Days in Nis and Pernik;
- Conducted training in functional training and cardio fitness for unemployed;
- Conducted sessions with disabled under supervision;
- Conducted functional training - children with spinal distortion and flat foot - 70 studеnts with spinal distortion and flat foot involved in swimming and functional training;
- Elaborated Trainer ‘s Book here;
- Conducted Round table in Pernik with 50 participants;
The main target groups are: - From Pernik: Young people with disabilities, especially those with motor and visual disorders; Students from 5 schools with spinal distortion and flat foot; Unemployed youths;
- From Nis: Young people with cerebral palsy, quadriplegia, paraplegia, motor delay, amputations, impaired nerves brachialis and visually impaired; Unemployed youths;
