Project summary:

The main project objective is to encourage the cooperation initiatives with young people in the CBC area for promotion of WellBeCome way of life (a life of well-being).

Activities: 1. Project preparation; 2. Project management; 3. Establishment of WellBeCome room in Slivnitsa; 4. Establishment of WellBeCome room in Dimitrovgrad; 5. Platform for WellBeCome networking and cooperation; 6. Joint strategy for development, networking and multiplication of the “WelBeCome” concept; 7. Campaign for finding of WellBeCome trainers; 8. Preparation of materials for the “WellBeCome” trainings; 9. “WellBeCome” training of trainers; 10. WellBeCome extra-curricular training activities for children; 11. Final WelBeCome event in Slivnitsa; 12. Final WelBeCome event in Dimitrovgrad; 13. Information and publicity of the project.

Results: Encouraged cooperation between youth in the CBC area for WellBeCome (well-being) activities; Created the first 2 WellBeCome rooms in the CBC area; Created WellBeCome Network platform; Prepared materials for WellBeCome trainings and activities; Trained WellBeCome trainers; Conducted WellBeCome actvities in the partnering schools; Conducted 2 WellBeCome final events.

Project summary:

Overall objective: Encouraging the cooperation in youth work and youth policy to contribute to integration and socio-economical development in Bulgaria-Serbia cross-border region.

The project envisages: Joint research and analyses of current situation and needs of young people in whole border regions of Bulgaria and Serbia; Selection and preparation of “youth riders” – group of 20 youth activists through joint training; Creation of a Virtual Community of Practice (VCoP) – website platform for collaboration; Creation of cross-border training camp in Serbia (support with training facilities); Implementation of two “Youth Rides” – series of public discussions about youth policy in 10 cities/towns in border area (5 per country); Training sessions for youth leaders and youth workers in Bulgaria and Serbia; Cross-border leader camp in Serbia for additional training, creation of CBC network of youth NGOs and political declaration; Publications, etc.

The planned project results include: Two research report- analyzes about current situation of youth in both border regions produced and published; One website on the concept of “Virtual Community of Practice” created; Min.52 young leaders and workers trained on issues related with youth work and policy; 10 international public discussions implemented in 10 towns/cities in border region between youth and decision makers about youth policy; A data base of min. 60 youth/working with youth NGOs from border region created; A data base of min. 60 successfully implemented projects (best practices) in youth field created; One CBC youth training camp supported with training facilities; One political declaration with recommendations to the public authorities adopted by joint youth summit and disseminated; One Collection with data-base of organizations, best practices and other materials from the project published and distributed, etc.

Project summary:

The project aims at establishing of two youth networks for cooperation, improving employability skills of youths in CB region and raising awareness and promotion of local CB attractions.

Project activities:

  1. Internet inquiry on youths' favorite tourist places;
  2. Recruitment of participants for the project trainings;
  3. Training in photography and video editing;
  4. Training in writing skills;
  5. Photo and writing contests for the selected winning tourist sites;
  6. Processing selected photo and video materials – practical master session;
  7. Processing selected writing materials - practical master session;
  8. Developing interactive youth map – a web based product with the contents provided by the youth participants;
  9. Producing a paper youth tourist catalogue – a promotional paper version of the interactive map;
  10. Project conference with exhibition of the winning photographies and matchmaking event with potential employers.

Expected outputs:

  1. Created 2 youth networks based on interests and professional skills development;
  2. CB area promoted;
  3. 20 youths trained in photo/video editing skills;
  4. 20 youths trained in professional writing skills;
  5. Interactive youth tourist map developed;
  6. Youth tourist catalogue published.

The main target group of the project is the youth population in the cross border area of Nisava, Pernik and Kyustendil, as well as local people and organizations related to the tourism economic sector.
