JMC meeting focused on the 2016 Annual implementation report, the Closure process 20017-2013 and the concept for the 2nd Call for Proposals
The fourth Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) meeting under Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria - Serbia 2014-2020 Programme was held on 23rd of May, in Nis. The meeting was chaired by Sanda Simic, Assistant Director of Serbian European Integration Office of the Republic of Serbia and co-chaired by Denitsa Nikolova, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works. Official guests in the meeting were His Excellency Edvin Sugarev, Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Nis and Dragoslav Pavlovic, representative of the City of Nis.
After the official greetings of Sanda Simic on behalf of the National Authority and Denitsa Nikolova on behalf of the Managing Authority, the JMC members were informed of the progress of implementation of the Interreg-IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria - Serbia 2014-2020 and the state of play under the Closure process of programming period 2007-2013. The participants had the chance to discuss the concept, key elements and timeline for the Second Call for proposals, planned to be launched later this year.
The JMC members reviewed and approved the following documents during the meeting:
- The 2016 Annual Implementation Report of the Interreg-IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria - Serbia 2014-2020;
- The Citizen’s summary to the 2016 Annual Implementation Report.
The approved annual implementation report will be submitted to the European Commission for final approval by the end of May, 2017. Both documents will be publish on the Programme website.
